- Due to the recent Supreme Court decision in South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc., States now have the authority to require out of state mail-order companies to collect and remit sales tax. The effective dates for these requirements vary by state. In accordance with these varying requirements, Holt’s will collect sales tax from the customer and remit the tax on their behalf to the appropriate State. For more information click here.
- In accordance with California Senate Bill No. 39, effective January 1, 2020, all packages containing tobacco products shipped to the state of California require the signature of a person 21 years of age or older upon delivery. We are required to confirm your delivery of tobacco products by telephone call after 5PM (PT) the day prior to shipment. We cannot ship tobacco products to P.O. Boxes in California.
- We require all purchasers to be over 21 years of age. In addition, in accordance with Delaware’s Title 30 Chapter 53, we’re required to receive and store age verification documents in order to sell a tobacco product to you. We utilize Agechecker.net to safely and securely store your information. Age verification is a one-time process required for compliance with Delaware law. We also require the signature of a person 21 years of age or older before completing your delivery. Due to signature requirements, we are unable to ship to a P.O. Box or offer certain shipping methods to Delaware.
Refund
Cigars
If you are not 100% satisfied with any cigars that you purchase from Regale Cigars after you have tried one (1) cigar, you may return them within 30 days for full credit or full refund. If you try more than one (1) and decide that they are not to your liking, you may return them and will receive credit or a refund for the amount of cigars returned, minus the shipping costs. Returns are accepted only with original cellophane wrapper intact.
Free Promotional Items
All defective promotional items must be returned by customer at customer cost. Replacement will be issued upon receipt of merchandise by Holt’s. Please call our Customer Service Department at 1-347-853-2680 for a Return Merchandise Authorization number within 3 days of receipt of your order to expedite the return(s). When returning merchandise, please repack the item carefully and return it INSURED within the prescribed time(s) above. We will pay for return shipping if your package was damaged, or if the error was on our behalf when it reached you. All free / promotional items included with purchase must accompany returned merchandise.
